A cathedral wedding, a boho touch, an ice cream bar, a circus performance, and a sparkler exit = one.big.party.
Brendan + Emily’s wedding was quite literally the most perfect day from start to finish.
We started the day off at Brendan’s parents house, where the ladies got ready for the big day. Following that, we went to The Cathedral of Saint Mary of the Immaculate Conception in Downtown Peoria, Illinois, for the first look with dad, and the ceremony to follow.
Their ceremony was filled with beautiful music echoing throughout the high ceilings. The ceremony was filled with so many family members + friends all around, and love surrounding each corner of the building.
After their ceremony, I rode in the bridal party bus with them to downtown Peoria, Illinois for bridal party pictures, followed by some time with just Emily + Brendan.
We partied all night long at Venue Chisca, which is also located in the Warehouse District in Downtown Peoria, Illinois.
At the venue they had an ice cream bar provided by Frozen Spoon in Germantown Hills, Illinois, and the line for the ice cream bar spiraled in between tables + chairs.
They also had friends + family all in on a little surprise.
Emily + Brendan were sat down as the music + lights started. Ballerinas, stilts, unicycles, etc.
Pretty quickly we realized they were all performing to a medley from the musical, The Greatest Showman!
Emily + Brendan even got up and danced with the crew.
Roaring applause, screaming, smiles, and a standing ovation followed their performance, and my shutter couldn’t move quick enough for the entertaining, and energetic speed their performance moved at.
The dance floor was completely full following their performance, with every guest ready to party + dance the night away.
I left their big day feeling so overwhelmed with gratitude, thankfulness, and love for these two + their families.
