A springtime bouquet + shimmery eye shadow + two humans with the most beautiful love for one another = the most PERFECT collaborative Saturday shoot!
This stylized photo shoot began at Lauren Schwei’s place to do Julie’s makeup.
Lauren did an exquisite job on Julie’s makeup and made it look effortless! All I can say is thank the Lord for Lauren, because I never know what I’m doing when it comes to makeup. The beautiful golden shimmer she put on Julie’s lids were simply stunning!
The day prior to the shoot, I picked up the bouquet from Morgan with Local Blooms. She provided the most colorful, springtime-looking, bohemian bouquet anyone could ever dream of. I fell in love the second I saw it. And it couldn’t have looked more perfect with Julie’s dress.
Julie, Lucas, and I went down by the river for our photo shoot, and it was a perfect, overcast day. With each photograph I took, I became more and more convinced that these two are actual models. Just LOOK AT THESE TWO!!!! Their love for one another truly radiates through each photograph.
We don’t see love in this way a lot anymore. I find myself so often while in public, seeing couples fighting, tearing one another down, and competing against each other, but I never do understand why.
Julie and Lucas have the most special love. They build one another up, they compliment each other. They love every part of one another in the way that very few do.
The lighting somehow magically became moody and dark toward the end of our shoot, and I was LIVING for it!!
We completed the early evening in comfy clothes and laughter between the two lovebirds. It was magical and beautiful, and I loved every minute of it.
Julie + Lucas: I hope you forever look at one another the way you do in every single one of these photographs.
